Vision: GLAMA deeply values the contribution of independent artists and musicians in the great lakes community and we provide the social, mental, and physical support and resources so they can flourish and continue to create a kinder, more beautiful world.
Mission: GLAMA Support provides artists access to a social worker who can connect our members to our network of counselors, lawyers, and financial planners as well as care coordination and financial support as they navigate these services. GLAMA Community offers artists shared services including public relations outreach, communications inclusion, and social/digital promotion of our members, as well as events. Through connection, collaboration, and celebration we will empower our community to grow and shine

Support
When you work for a big company, the company offers a benefits package that encourages you to continue doing your best work by allowing you resources that address your physical and mental health, help you plan for your future, and provides support and resources when you need it. And that is what GLAMA aims to provide to our member artists through two comprehensive support programs. First, the Artist Assistance program (similar to an Employee Assistance Program) provides access to mental health networks, financial resources, and legal resources. If the need exists for additional support we have the Artist Care Coordination program so no one has to go through anything alone.

Community
As a community, we are all stronger together. We will focus on strengthening and building up our community through a series of community events and celebrations, as well as a collection of shared services to help promote your work and grow your audiences. Annual events include the Sandhill Crane Arts and Music Festival and the annual GLAMA awards. Shared services include public relations outreach, communications inclusion, and social/digital promotion of our members. Through connection, collaboration, and celebration we will empower our community to grow and shine.
